Welcome to FIRE & LIGHT’S 2025-26 Season

The youth of Fire & Light Academy perform full-scale classic productions for our Fort Wayne community. We are elated to be on stage at both the Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab and the newly renovated Arts United Center this 2025-26 season. We hope you’ll join us for every show!

We promise you won’t want to miss a single moment.

THE ONE-ACT PLAY THAT GOES WRONG - November 6-8 and 13-5, 2025 - Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab, 300 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne

It's the classic murder mystery story... an untimely death at a country manor, everyone is a suspect, and an inspector is set on the case to find who the devilish culprit is.  However, when this play is performed by the accident-prone thespians of the Cornley Drama Society, everything can go wrong - and does!  Missed lines, falling props, and a cantankerous set are just a few of the obstacles the actors and crew must battle in order to make it to their final curtain call!  This hilarious comedy, stocked with a plethora of disasters, will have you laughing the minute the lights go up on the unfortunate stage. Who murdered Charles Haversham?  You'll have to see for yourself!

SEUSSICAL JR. - January 22-24, 2026 - Arts United Center, 303 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza! The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the enamored Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, and family  emerge triumphant!

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN - April 16-18, 2026 - Arts United Center, 303 E. Main Street, Fort Wayne

Singin' in the Rain has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item but, behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.  Tap your toes and sing along in this splashy adaptation of the celebrated and beloved film.

Screenplay by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed
Based on the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Inc.
Music published by EMI, all rights administered by Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC
